Okay. I just finished watching 6 different movies and playing DDR. Which, by the way, is really weird. Since I gained 2 pounds after playing DDR. Sniffle. That is so unfair.
Anyway, I watched Scooby-Doo, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Professional, The Mask of Zorro, Supercop and Romeo + Juliet. I know, I must be a really big loser if I have all this time on my hands. Actually, Xue wanted me to come over with my memory card and play FFX but I couldn't. Stupid parental permission and all that stuff.
Scooby-Doo was actually pretty funny. Everyone started demonstrating kung-fu-y moves at the end of the movie. And I kinda liked the ritual dresses. And Daphne looked better in the medieval damsel-in-distress costume. Scooby looks so cute when he is all teary and about to cry.
The Count of Monte Cristo was cool. Mercedes- not that pretty. And she looks alot better with her hair down. But some of her outfits are really cool so it's okay. Hated Fernard and Villefort in the beginning and pitied them in the end. The Napoleon sympathizing father of Villefort was pretty funny. He was my favorite character in the movie even though he had about 10 mintues of screen time max. No wait... the Abbe was cool too.
The Professional was freaky and stuff but okay. Hated Stan-what's-his-face. Giggle. His name reminds me of Stanley the Turkey. (Who we have to talk to by the way) Anyway, it kinda sucked. It was a nice love story, I guess. But weird and freaky at the same time. You'll understand if you watch it. I actually hated the ending the most. Stupid D.E.A people.
The Mask of Zorro was so cute. Elena and Alejandro were really cute together. And so was Esperanza and Diego. Don Rafael was kinda sad, chasing a dead, married woman. And Capitan Love was just plain FREAKY. People we like to be around are NOT people who drink wine and stuff out of pitchers containing heads. Or hands. Or any other bodily parts. Shudder.
Supercop was great although I fully expected Michelle Yeoh (or Khan, whatever) to hook up with Jackie Chan. Sadly.. that didn't happen. Sigh.. I am so disappointed. Although I think lots of people were hitting on her.
Romeo+Juliet kinda sucked. Okay, not kinda. Did. I would have liked it alot better had they not used traditional dialogue. I think that was a particulary bad directing decision on whoever's part. Sigh. It was really romantic and what-not but the traditional dialogue was just too much. |
